The benefits of Pole dancing

strength
Many people assume you need lots of upper body strength to participate. Although good upper body strength will rapidly excel your progress, it is not necessary. Even if you regularly attend a gym you may not have used your muscles in the same way as you would in pole dancing. All the beginner moves are designed to build your strength up, starting with the upper body and core. The noticeable improvements in just a few sessions are remarkable.

Toning up
Pole dancing gets your body moving in a variety of ways and many people notice a positive change in the shape of their bodys. Bingo wings, flabby abs and hip handles can reduce dramatically.

Confidence and self-esteem
Although I had been an exotic dancer for a number of years, I suffered badly after the birth of my daughter with my self-image and confidence, not just in my looks but also the way I moved felt different. I felt stiff, awkward and shy. It took a long time for me to pluck up the courage to exercise again, let alone pole dance! I felt there must be loads of women who feel the same way at some time or another and pole dancing is such a great way to embrace being a woman and learning a new skill! The buzz you feel when you master a new move is fantastic!

There are loads more benefits such as increasing flexibility, balance, posture and timing; why don’t you come along for a class to find out just how many more!
